What this service is

Unstamped removes removable file metadata — EXIF, XMP, IPTC and C2PA Content Credentials — from an image you give it, and returns a cleaned copy whose visible pixels are unchanged.

It does not remove signals encoded into the pixels themselves, such as Google's SynthID, and it makes no claim to defeat, evade or bypass any detection system. A cleaned image may still be recognised as AI-generated.

Only the categories and the proofs stated in the receipt you are shown are guaranteed. Nothing outside that receipt is promised.

This is a free soft launch

The service is offered free of charge, as is, while we learn how it behaves with real use. Availability is not guaranteed, features may change or be withdrawn, and the free allowance may be adjusted.

We will not pretend otherwise: if you need a guaranteed, supported service today, this is not yet it.

Your files, and your authority over them

You keep every right you have in the images you upload. Uploading transfers no ownership and grants us no licence beyond what is needed to perform the cleaning you asked for and hand the result back.

You must have the right to process every file you upload — because you own it, or because you are authorised to modify it. Uploading someone else's image that you have no authority over is a breach of these terms.

Files are deleted automatically within 15 minutes. Download your result before then; we cannot recover it afterwards.

What you must not do

Do not use the service to falsify provenance, to misrepresent the origin of content, or to pass off content as something it is not. Removing metadata from your own image is not the same thing as forging a provenance record, and the second is out of bounds.

Do not attack the service: no automated abuse, no attempt to circumvent the free allowance, no probing for vulnerabilities without our written agreement, no uploading of malicious files. Found a real security problem? Write to support@getunstamped.com — we would rather hear it from you.

We may suspend access that breaches this section, without notice where the service or other people are at risk.

Liability

The service is provided as is and without warranty, to the fullest extent French law allows. Nothing here excludes liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or anything else the law does not let us exclude.

Keep your own copy of any original you care about.

Reserving Pro access is not a purchase

Pro access is not on sale yet. Reserving it tells us to write to you when checkout opens, and that is everything it does.

No money is taken. No card is collected. No payment is created, no order exists, and a reservation grants no Pro access, no priority, no discount and no price lock.

The offer we intend to open is €29 for 12 months: a one-time payment with no automatic renewal. That figure is announced, not charged, and it is not a binding offer of sale.

Terms of sale, the right of withdrawal and a refund policy will be published and accepted before checkout opens. Until they are, nothing on this service can be bought.

You can withdraw a reservation at any time by writing to support@getunstamped.com.

Changes, and reaching us

We may change these terms as the service changes; the date at the top of this page tells you when they last moved. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.

These terms are governed by French law, and nothing in them removes a protection that a mandatory consumer-law provision gives you.
