Instagram may add an "AI info" label to posts. Metadata is one of several inputs it can use — not the only one.

Metadata is one signal

Embedded provenance metadata (including C2PA) can be one input to an AI label. Cleaning removable metadata addresses that input. Instagram can also rely on its own classifiers, matches, or your disclosure.

No guarantee, by design

Because platform behavior varies and uses multiple signals, Unstamped does not promise a specific label outcome. It removes removable metadata and preserves the image's appearance.

Unstamped removes removable file metadata (including C2PA Content Credentials). It does not remove pixel-level signals such as SynthID and cannot guarantee a specific AI-label outcome on any platform.
